1. Authenticity & Condition
Q: How do you guarantee the authenticity of your items?
Authenticity is the foundation of Limone Lux. We have a zero-tolerance policy for counterfeit goods. Every single item undergoes a rigorous, two-stage authentication process:
- Stage 1 – AI Authentication: We utilize advanced AI technology to analyze an item’s digital fingerprint, including materials, hardware, and serial numbers.
- Stage 2 – Expert Human Verification: Following AI analysis, each item is physically inspected by our in-house team of luxury goods experts who have years of experience authenticating brands like Hermès, Chanel, and Cartier.
Only items that pass both stages are listed for sale. This ensures you can shop with 100% confidence.
Q: Will my item come with an authenticity certificate?
Yes. Applicable items will be shipped with either the original brand’s authenticity card (if available) or a Limone Lux Certificate of Authenticity, which stands as our guarantee for the item’s genuineness.
Q: What do your condition grades mean?
We are transparent about the condition of every pre-owned item. Our grading is as follows:
- Never Worn / Like New: The item is pristine, showing no signs of wear, scratches, or professional maintenance.
- Very Good: The item shows only very slight signs of use, such as minor, hard-to-see scratches or rubbing on corners.
- Good Condition: The item shows noticeable signs of regular use (e.g., visible scratches, leather wear) OR has undergone professional maintenance (such as leather re-coloring or cleaning).
Q: What is my guarantee if an item turns out to be fake?
In the extremely unlikely event that an item is proven to be inauthentic by a reputable third-party authenticator, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. We will cover all return shipping costs and issue a full refund. You have 14 days from the delivery date to make such a claim.
2. Shipping & Orders
Q: Where do you ship to, and how much does it cost?
We primarily ship to all countries within the European Union (EU), and we also accept international orders. We are proud to offer Free Express Shipping on all orders via our trusted partners, DHL or UPS.
Q: Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?
It depends on your location:
- Inside the EU: No. All taxes and duties are covered by Limone Lux. The price you see is the final price.
- Outside the EU: Yes. The buyer is responsible for any import duties, customs fees, and local taxes required by the destination country.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
Our process takes approximately 7 days in total. This includes up to 48 hours for us to conduct a final, pre-shipment quality and authenticity check, followed by the transit time with DHL or UPS.
Q: Is my package insured during shipping?
Yes, absolutely. Every single package is fully insured against loss, theft, or damage during transit until it is signed for upon delivery.
3. Returns & Cancellations
Q: Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it has been shipped. Please email us immediately with your order number. Once a shipping confirmation is sent, the order cannot be cancelled.
Q: Why don’t you accept returns for personal reasons?
Our “All Sales Final” policy (except for authenticity issues) is a standard practice in the high-end pre-owned luxury market. This policy protects all our customers by ensuring that every item remains in the exact authenticated condition it was sold in, free from wear-and-tear of trial use or the risk of fraudulent “switch” returns. This guarantees the integrity and value of your investment.
4. Payment & Consignment
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure payments via PayPal and all major Credit Cards. We do not offer installment plans at this time.
Q: What is your policy on consigned items?
For items we sell on behalf of consignors: once an item passes our rigorous quality control and authentication process, it is considered validated. If the item is sold, the transaction is final and the item cannot be returned to the consignor.
